My Take: I like Banshee.......a little. He was cool in the Phalanx storyline, which is where I really noticed this character. Other than that, I saw him in the cartoon and wasn't impressed. I know he has a daughter with the same powers, which is cool but I don't think she likes him much. Oh well, at least the students like him. He's been a great instructor and father figure for the kids.

Real Name: Emma Frost
Codename: White Queen
Mutant Gift: She is a damn powerful telepath. Reading minds, telepathically communicating, astral projection, mind blasts, mental stimulation, etc. In current issues, she has gained a secondary mutation which enables her skin to turn into diamond. In this form, her telepathy is disabled.

My Take: She is a tough cookie alright. (and rich too!) I would never fuck with her! Character wise I think Marvel is doing an awesome job with her. Even when she's a good guy she's bad. Gotta love Frost.

Real Name: Jonothan Evan Starsmore
Codename: Chamber
Mutant Gift: He is a living psionic being! His psionic energy blasted his chest which is why he looks like that. He also can speak telepathically.

My Take: Chamber is very cool and original, even though I feel sorry for him. I wonder if he has any family members with mutant powers? Anyway, Paige likes him and I think they are good together as long as she doesn't mind the energy blazing across his chest. Ooohh also, his action figure kicks ASS!

UPDATE: It seems that Paige is after Warren Worthington.... aww poor Jono.

Real Name: Angelo Espinosa

Mutant Gift: Well, he has like 5 extra feet of skin to which he can control. Oh, and lets keep it PG ok everyone?

My Take: Um yeah, he's alright. I don't really care if he dies or not. I think he should have died and Synch should have lived. ::shrug:: But I haven't even read that far into the comic so what do I know. =P

Mutant Gift: She is a meta-morph who can shed her skin and change her physical form into whatever form she knows how. (rock, steel, etc.)

My Take: Oh god not another hick. Just kidding! I like Paige, since she always wanted to be a mutant like her bro. Her powers are kinda weird.. it's like the ghetto version of Mystique only a bit more limited. In the Age of Apocalypse storyline she kicked ass and even learned how to morph into liquid and stuff. Cool gal.

Mutant Gift: Can absorb organic matter into himself and gain its properties. (Rocks, metal, etc.)

My Take: Umm yeah, I guess he's cool. He didn't really do much and then I heard he died or something so there ya go. I think he was better in the Gen X movie. Tough guy!

Mutant Gift: She has superhuman strength, intellect, flight, limited telepathic abilities, and night vision.

My Take: This bitch kicks ass! She should have gone straight to the X-men team and skipped training. Think of her as genius Rogue with a mix of Emma Frost. I stopped reading Gen X before the whole "twin" shit broke out so I can't comment on that other than its totally retarded. But hey, I just got my back issues so I'll post my update soon.

Mutant Gift: Has diamond hard skin which can cut through stone.

My Take: Another cool character that I think was ruined after I stopped reading Gen X. She was riveting in the first few issues, and drawn beautifully! Plus, Yvette is such a cool name. I think the last time i flipped a Gen X comic she was wearing headphones and tight girly clothing. Umm I thought she wa supposed to be deaf? Guess not...

Real Name: Everett Thomas
Codename: Synch
Mutant Gift: Generates an aura that links him to nearby mutants in which he can utilize their power. Can also use his aura as a lock on device.

My Take: I like him, he reminds me of Bishop! When he synched up with Jubilee and blasted the phalanx it was really cool.

He's dead now, which kinda sucks since I though he was in the future... maybe Bishops father? Who knows. Oh, and he's not gay - his powers glow like that.. ^_^;;
